I'm new โ how do I check out the gym before joining?
We'd love to show you around. Stop by during staffed hours for in-person visits. If the time does not suit you, simply email us at info@starrwt.com (mailto:info@starrwt.com)or give us a call/text at 425-97-STARR to schedule a time that works for you. We'll walk you through the facility, introduce you to our equipment, and answer any questions you have. You can also follow us on Instagram (@StarrWeightTraining) for an inside look at the gym.
I would like to make changes to my membership.
Any and all membership changes โ including upgrades, downgrades, holds, or cancellations โ must be submitted in writing by emailing info@starrwt.com (mailto:info@starrwt.com)by the 4th of each month. Changes requested after the 5th will take effect the following billing cycle. We do not accept verbal cancellations.
Do you have drop in /day pass?
Yes! Day passes are $25 and valid for a single visit on the day of purchase, expiring at 11:59 PM. All day passes must be purchased online through our member portal before arriving at the gym.
If you simply just want to stop in to see or tour the gym, please visit us during staffed hours or email/text/call us to schedule an appointment.
What are your staffed hours?
Think of staffed hours like office hours โ we're available in person Monday thru Friday 12-3PM or 430-630PM. For general questions, email and text responses are typically fastest. We monitor our messages regularly and aim to respond promptly.
How do I purchase drinks/merchandise?
Find Sarah, Tony, Huey, or one of the trainers. We have the ability to bill to your account, otherwise all major credit cards accepted.
I wanted a drink, but nobody was around and the fridge was locked.
See previous question. It means we're closed ๐ Sorry!
Can I bring a guest?
Absolutely โ we love it when members share their favorite gym. Your guest will need to purchase a day pass online before arriving. Both you AND your guest must check in via the app when you arrive. Failing to check in โ even if both of you have valid memberships or passes โ triggers a $300 policy violation fee per our membership agreement. This policy exists to protect our members and prevent unauthorized access. And yes, we do have cameras throughout the facility.
Can I bring my kids or baby?
For safety and liability reasons, children are not permitted in the gym. Our training floor contains heavy equipment, free weights, and moving machinery that can present serious hazards for young children. We do not have a dedicated childcare area at this time. We understand that unexpected situations occasionally arise โ if you're in an emergency situation, please contact us in advance at 425-97-STARR and we'll do our best to discuss accommodations.
When's the most busy time at the gym?
Like most gyms, our peak hours tend to be Monday through Friday between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM as people finish their workday. One of the big advantages of being a member here is our 24/7 access โ if you prefer a quieter experience, early mornings, midday, and weekends tend to be less crowded. Sometimes you'll have the whole gym to yourself, which is one of our members' favorite things about Starr Weight Training.
Do I have to check-in every time even if me and my friend both have memberships or day passes?
YES. EACH PERSON MUST CHECK-IN. Every person entering the gym must check in via the app every single visit. This applies to all members and all guests who have purchased passes. Check-in is required even if you and a friend both have memberships and arrive together. Failure to check in triggers a $300 fee per our membership agreement. This system exists to ensure the security and accountability of our member-only facility.
Do you take cash for payments for anything?
No. We are cashless business. We only accept credit card payments.
Do you offer towel service?
BYOT. Bring Your Own Towel. If you're a sweaty person, it is encouraged to bring a towel. The towels available are used to wipe down equipment.
Where can I park?
There are three dedicated parking spots directly in front of the gym. During regular business hours on weekdays (MondayโFriday, 9 AMโ4 PM), please be mindful of marked spots belonging to neighboring businesses in the complex. After 4 PM and all day on weekends, parking restrictions are minimal and ample parking is available throughout the lot.

Yes! We know many of our members document their training for social media, coaching reviews, or personal progress tracking. Tripods are available near the fridge in the corner for your convenience.
